HopeMill stayed busy this summer! From hands-on recovery projects to impactful community programs, we are proud to be paving the way toward resilience and recovery across Western North Carolina. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the Back-to-School Backpack Program in Avery County a success. Nearly a year after disaster struck, it’s clear that our neighbors in WNC still need us and we sincerely thank you for your continued support.

We had the opportunity to meet several immediate needs and take on a major restoration project at Whitson Cemetery. That effort reminded us of something powerful: with collaboration, determination, and the insight of the affected community, there’s nothing we can’t figure out together. This volume is full of success stories, hard work, and valuable lessons, and we’re excited to share it with you!
