HopeMill Newsletter Volume 7

Big Progress, Bigger Plans: Your HopeMill Summer Update

Our latest HopeMill newsletter is here, and it’s full of amazing stories! Inside, you’ll meet the inspiring students behind this year’s HopeMill Resilience Scholarship, young people who turned personal hardship from Hurricane Helene into service and perseverance. You’ll also see the incredible progress happening across our mountain communities: a family’s home coming back to life on the Cane River, Sheena’s restaurant in Barnardsville nearing reopening, fuel access restored at Lynn Peterson’s General Store, and the ongoing work to honor lost neighbors through the Whitson Cemetery restoration project.

We’re also looking ahead to HopeMill’s 3rd Annual Mountain Gala on October 23rd, our biggest fundraiser of the year, and sharing ways you can get involved, from sponsorships and auction donations to volunteering your time or skills. Thank you for standing with us as we continue restoring hope and rebuilding lives across Western North Carolina.
