HopeMill stayed busy this summer! From hands-on recovery projects to impactful community programs, we are proud to be paving the way toward resilience and recovery across Western North Carolina. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the Back-to-School Backpack Program in Avery County a success. Nearly a year after disaster struck, it’s clear that our neighbors in WNC still need us and we sincerely thank you for your continued support.

HopeMill is collaborating with other local nonprofits to help facilitate and fund a dual project in Yancey County this summer. By donating, you will be assisting with funding to restore the Whitson cemetery, including: purchasing replacement tombstones, caskets, restoration services, and landscaping for the cemetery, as well as helping Haley’s family rebuild.
