Rebuilding Lives and Resting Places in Yancey County
HopeMill is collaborating with other local nonprofits to help facilitate and fund projects in Yancey County. A privately owned cemetery with several family plots had been washed away by the roaring river during Hurricane Helene. Our goal is to raise funding to reestablish an affected family home nearby and facilitate the restoration of the cemetery with dignity and discretion.

Help The McClain Family Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
After losing their home to Hurricane Helene, the McClain family of six was left without shelter. HopeMill stepped in to provide emergency housing, but their original mobile home was beyond repair due to black mold and severe roof damage. Thanks to a generous donation from Mountain Alliance and Mission, a new home is ready—but we need your help to finish the job.

General Hurricane Helene Donations
Our mission is to bring hope and stability to communities impacted by disasters, and thanks to our incredible donors, we’ve been able to make a real difference. Together, we’ve secured housing, helped families cover essential bills, cleared debris, graded lots, provided construction equipment, offered temporary housing, transportation, and more.
