Please use this link for accurate directions.

We recommend that everyone be at Chetola Sporting Reserve between 9:45am-10am. Training and practice will begin at 10am and the shooting begins at 10:30am sharp!

We will be using shotguns only for the clay shooting competition. It is highly recommended that you bring your own gun, however, there will be limited shotguns available for rent at the event.

All ammunition will be provided. 12 and 20 gauge ammo will be used for the event. There will also be 28 gauge ammo available for purchase (this gauge is not included in your ticket price). Bringing your own ammunition is strictly prohibited.

This event is for those aged 12 and up.

Registration Deadline

Ticket sales will close on April 16th, 2025.

Each participant will be allowed to shoot 3 clays during their turn. If they miss, there will be a paid mulligan option to try again. It is advised that you bring cash for the mulligans.

Tourism is vital to our mountain towns, but since Hurricane Helene, it has declined significantly. If you’d like to make a weekend out of the clay shoot event, Chetola is offering these specials for guests, including 15% off your hotel stay.

Contact Chetola Resort and let them know you will be attending the Hope Mill fundraiser to claim these promotions.

There will be prizes for the top team and individual shooter, as well as a raffle on the day of the event. Tickets for the raffle can be bought with card or cash. More details to come!

Please notify us if you cannot attend.

How Your Donations Help

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible donors, HopeMill has been able to make a profound impact on families affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. We’ve provided homes, vehicles, and financial assistance for essential bills, ensuring our neighbors have access to food, clean water, and basic necessities. While many families are starting to get back on their feet, they still need our support to fully recover. Together, we can continue to make a difference and help our community rebuild stronger than ever.

Lisa and Howard Ray’s lives were forever changed when floodwaters from the Cane River overwhelmed their home. The couple was swept away as their house was carried over 400 yards by the rushing water. Miraculously, they survived by escaping through the walls of their home, but they lost everything in the process.
